Overview
LCM - GCD Calculator ("the App") is a math utility app — LCM, GCD, base conversion, age calculation, factors, multiples, common factors, common multiples, prime numbers, averages, percentages, and leap year checking. This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use it.
The App itself does not require an account, does not collect your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information, and does not send your calculator inputs or results anywhere. Every calculation runs entirely on your device. The only outside data flow comes from the advertising described below.
Information stored on your device
The App saves a few preferences locally on your device (using the platform's standard local storage) so your choices persist between launches:
- Selected language (English / বাংলা)
- Selected theme (Light / Dark / System)
- Swipe-to-open-menu and swipe-to-open-settings toggles
- A flag recording that the first-launch setup dialog has been dismissed, so it isn't shown again
None of this leaves your device or is linked to you personally, and all of it is removed when you uninstall the App.
Advertising
On Android, the App shows ads — a banner ad on each screen and, occasionally, a full-screen ad between screens — served through Google AdMob (Google's mobile advertising service). This is how the App is funded to remain free. Builds for other platforms do not include ads.
To serve and measure ads, Google Mobile Ads may collect and process data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general location, app usage, and ad interaction data. Google may use this data to show you ads (potentially personalized to your interests, subject to your device and regional settings) and to measure ad performance. This processing is governed by Google's own policies, not by the App developer directly:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- AdMob and user data (Google's help center)
The developer receives only aggregate, non-identifying reporting from AdMob (such as total impressions and earnings) — never information about individual users.
Content rating restriction
The App configures AdMob to only show ads rated suitable for general audiences (the "G" content rating), which excludes ads with adult or mature content. This is a best-effort filter applied to every ad request; it relies on Google's own ad-content classification.
Your ad choices
You can limit ad personalization at the device level, on Android under Settings → Google → Ads, using either "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization." Ads may still appear after opting out, but they will not be personalized to your interests.
Children's privacy
The App is a general-purpose calculator and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
Permissions
The App requests internet access, which is required for ads to load. On Android, the Google Mobile Ads SDK also declares access to the device's advertising ID, used for the ad serving and measurement described above. The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, storage, or any other sensitive device permission.
Data security
Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data of its own, there is no App-controlled database of user information to secure. Data handled by the advertising SDK is secured under Google's own security practices.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time — for example, if a new feature changes what data is collected. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
- 26 August 2026 — updated for version 1.1.0: ads are now served on Android only, the tool list and the locally stored preferences were brought up to date, and the advertising ID permission was described explicitly.
